Corrosion Resistance & Applications
Inconel 601 offers excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance up to about 1200°C thanks to its aluminium content, plus good resistance to carburizing and sulfur-containing atmospheres. Typical applications include heat treatment baskets and trays, radiant tubes, wire strand annealing, industrial furnaces and petrochemical heaters.

FAQ
What thickness range can you supply for Inconel 601 sheet and plate?
Cold-rolled sheet is available from 0.5 mm up to 3.0 mm, and hot-rolled plate from 3.0 mm up to 60 mm. Thinner strip and foil down to 0.1 mm can be supplied in coil form.
Do you provide mill test certificates?
Yes. Every shipment is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate covering chemical composition, mechanical properties and heat number traceability. Third-party inspection by SGS, TUV or BV is accepted before shipment.
Can you cut Inconel 601 plate to my required size?
Yes. We offer cut-to-length, laser/plasma cutting and edge preparation services so the material arrives ready for your fabrication.
