Corrosion Resistance & Applications
Monel 400 offers a nickel-copper alloy with excellent resistance to seawater, hydrofluoric acid and many alkalis, retaining good mechanical properties from sub-zero to about 480°C. Typical applications include marine engineering, seawater valves and heat exchangers, hydrofluoric acid alkylation units and offshore splash-zone cladding.

What thickness range can you supply for Monel 400 sheet and plate?
Cold-rolled sheet is available from 0.5 mm up to 3.0 mm, and hot-rolled plate from 3.0 mm up to 60 mm. Thinner strip and foil down to 0.1 mm can be supplied in coil form.
Do you provide mill test certificates?
Yes. Every shipment is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate covering chemical composition, mechanical properties and heat number traceability. Third-party inspection by SGS, TUV or BV is accepted before shipment.
Can you cut Monel 400 plate to my required size?
Yes. We offer cut-to-length, laser/plasma cutting and edge preparation services so the material arrives ready for your fabrication.
